Evening Wine Tasting in Historic Wine Cellars
Staying at our farmstay in the Parma Apennines means immersing yourself in complete tranquility, without having to get back in the car in the evening to reach distant restaurants. In the charming late-medieval cellars of the fortress, our guests can book an exclusive evening wine tasting, enjoying products from the Campelli Farm right where the history of the village of Rocca di Valle di Castrignano (Langhirano) is rooted.
Evening service is available exclusively to farmstay guests and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
A unique atmosphere in the heart of the fortress
The ancient cellars of the fortress, bathed in soft light and cooled by the natural breeze, offer an intimate and cozy setting. The large oak table, added during our restoration project, welcomes guests for an evening of tranquility and tradition.

The evening wine tasting is an experience reserved for guests of the agriturismo (or by advance reservation) to preserve the tranquility and exclusivity of the atmosphere. You can easily request it when booking your room or by contacting us directly.

The restoration of the cellars
PRESERVATION MEANS INNOVATION
The Rocca's cellars were always a very lived-in environment: located on the ground floor of the Rocca's main building, they were built at the same time as the complex was founded in late medieval times.
Until World War II they continued their function, no longer thanks to the Cavatorta family who owned the complex until the nineteenth century, but thanks to the Campelli and sharecropper families who shared the cellar spaces for their own needs related to agricultural activity: the Grossi family and the Davoli family. But this historical period slowly came to an end, and part of the cellars became a material warehouse.
In 2021, the property decided to make this vaulted space usable again by restoring the old floor that is still legible, supplementing the grout with natural lime and local interte, relaizing oak doors and a large table to be used for evening tastings only for guests staying overnight in our agriturismo.
We do not believe that in order to give new life to the buildings you have to turn them upside down, rather you just need to preserve them!
