This small, but precious rural building, protected, like the whole complex of our property, in accordance with the Code of Cultural Heritage, is starting from the summer of 2019 an agritourism welcome place. We can therefore accommodate you in one of the three double bedrooms.

A way to experience with kindness the territory of the Tuscan-Emilian Parmense Apennines, twenty minutes from the city of Parma, immersed in the landscape of the “Protected Area of the Bosso and Sporno mountains”, part of the recently established UNESCO MAB area.

All three rooms are housed in one of the buildings of the complex called  "Casa Piazza", from the name of the last family that lived there. It is a three-storey house with balcony, entirely dedicated to hospitality, perfectly preserved. The restoration was carried out in a philological way using only traditional materials: oak wood, natural lime, local stone. Particular attention was given to lime as this material was typical of the area and the valley, so much so that the Campelli family produced it with a small quarry in the woods above the houses. Once the quarry was rediscovered during the restoration, the lime for the plasters was obtained by mixing local inert material with the mixture. The succature and plasters obtained thus took the color of the local earth, giving uniqueness to the intervention and harmony between architecture, history and place.

A TRUE HISTORICAL RESIDENCE OF THE PARMENSE APENNINES

Located on the top floor of one of the buildings in the village called Casa Piazza, it takes its name from the rooms traditionally used as a bedroom and a place to store grain and wheat. The walls and doors in fact still bear the traces of the count of the sacks and are been preserved together with all the walls plastered with natural lime, as a decorative aspect as well as a testimonial.
